I'd say so! \:D

The drubbing will also come in the popular vote.
This has been an historic election. I suspect we will see historic results.

I'd like to see "the drubbing" come with the popular vote as well.

I guess Senator Obama has this election so "in the bag" and a "slam-dunk" that there is little reason for a guy to go to the polls and stand in line with all the other Dewey voters when a guy could be doing something else more enjoyable, huh?;-)

Yes, iss, I suppose all those folks who have been standing in line for up to three hours at the early voting polls just showed up to visit their fellow collectivists, and didn't actually bother to cast a vote at all, eh? ;\)

One should still stand in line and vote if one were to vote for Barack - else just stay home - why bother?

By-the-way, did you hear that those voting for McCain actually vote on Wednesday - the vote day has been changed for McCain voters. \:D

Remember McCain voters - vote and vote often on Wednesday!

This piece is actually a moderately humorous read, if one isn't strongly invested in either of the two major candidates. (NSFHH warning)

\:D I'm pretty sure every Obama supporter will get out and vote Against George Bush and the Republican party. The drubbing will be in the popular vote as well as electoral because Republicans, without a chance of winning, will stay home in droves and avoid the lines.

That's precious Hekate, but it not true. It was a good read though.
McCain will get drubbed because he was a crappy candidate from the start. He only took the nomination because for some reason he was the last man standing at the end. The Republicans fielded a dozen or so lackluster choices with so many skeletons rattling you couldn't hear yourself think. McCain sold the Straight talk bus early on cause he didn't have a chance. One by one they fell on their swords, clumsily, running with knives, til only John McCain was left. Nobody really liked him from the start, not even the christian fundy base who would vote for anything labeled republican. So He chose Sarah Palin to get the vote of the 30% who still supported Bush and lost the respect of the rest of the world. McCain will lose. He will lose in a big way but it wont be because of the press or the media or anything else except a flawed campaign run by a flawed candidate.
