I was just wondering if anybody has watched the new Twin Peaks. We have started watching this thing and I was just wondering if anybody had any thoughts on it. We have now finished episode 8 and one has to wonder............. (another 10 to go)

It's on my list but I won't be able to get around to it for a while.
I can only devote a set amount of time to premium TV, so Twin Peaks, as enthralling as it might be, may have to wind up being ordered on DVD or watched On Demand.

I cannot remember the old twin peaks but my wife assures me that I did (getting old) That being said this show is, if nothing else, completely bizarre. An instance of that is the doppleganger thing. We now seem to have three Kyle MacLachlan characters running around and, apparently, they can get killed and then 'wake up". What makes it even more confusing is that there is now some indication that one of them really isn't MacLachan at all! Then there is the tempo - S L O W .............

As far as I can tell we have a story based on multiple dimension time warps (which kinda means they can do anything <G>)

I would probably stop watching it but it may have me captured as we both want to know what strange is coming next and we are also keep thinking that something will happen to lend some kind of understanding. I have also noticed, but have not read, an explanation, by Lynch (producer, director, writer, etc), concerning the end show. I will be interested if that clears up anything.
