BTW,
For those who think Trump's current behavior is not criminal, I refer you to
18 USC 1513(e):Whoever knowingly, with the intent to retaliate, takes any action harmful to any person, including interference with the lawful employment or livelihood of any person, for providing to a law enforcement officer any truthful information relating to the commission or possible commission of any Federal offense, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both.

Fatboy can take Robert Mueller's security clearance away and that would be the end of Robert Mueller's investigation into Fatboy's criminal enterprise. Hmm

And neither you nor pdx Rick think the reaction by the majority of Americans would be overwhelming?
God, I hope you're both wrong, because if he pulls either of those stunts and is allowed to get away with it, then we deserve whatever comes afterward.

Nope. Not in the least bit. Hmm

We get what we deserve for having Fatboy as POTUS to begin with. Hmm

Stripping security clearances of all these "formers" is just petty vindictiveness I would expect of a third-grade bully. But if he fires or lifts the security clearance of Bruce Ohr, he's committed a crime. Ohr currently works for the Justice Department, and was involved in the Russia investigation but apparently did nothing at all to get fired. Doing anything to him would be a clear violation of the whistleblower laws.

Its almost amusing. Everybody keeps quoting laws that the Jackass has either going to break or has broken. The inference is that somehow makes a difference. If that were true the man would be in prison right now. It, obviously, makes no difference. I am one of those who hope that Mueller will define the entire mess and actually bring charges, as its obvious that the current congress is not going to do that. I am not, however, counting on the Democrats to win the coming elections.

I just checked and there are 3 main political classifications; Democratic, Republican and Independent. Both the Democratic and Republican classes seem to be close when it comes to membership. The Independents also have approximately the same member ship as each of the others. I had always thought it held as many members as both parties together - I was wrong. Everybody, from the left, is counting on a complete sweep in the next election. The simple fact, however, is that the Republicans are going to come out to vote big time (nobody doubts this for a minute). The Democratic voters, however, noted for their apparent ability to not stick together and not even bother to vote is a simple fact. Now, however, they are saying they will come out and vote. Without the independents that would make for a very close race. Then we have the independents. There seems to be an assumption that they will vote with the Democrats. I suspect that they tend to split down close to the middle. So, again, we will have a very close race! I REALLY hope I am wrong about this one (I don't mind being wrong about such).

If the Republicans win you can count on the Jackass breaking the law big time and getting away with it. (which is, seemingly, happening right now). Even, however, if the Democrats do win there is no reason to believe that they have the capacity to vote together in the congress anymore than there is any reason the Republicans can do that either. Remember, when the Dems owned the congress they couldn't even pass a bill that would require that political ads actually contain the names of those who paid for them. Nor could they pass a comprehensive immigration solution either. We have, basically, an elected class, regardless of political affiliation, that does only one thing well - assure that they keep their jobs no matter what they have to do to accomplish that (basically, take care of no 1 and screw the rest)

Just saying..............

Both history and the current political climate point to a loss of some sort for Republicans. We really won't know until the elections happen but the one thing I think we can count on is that there will not be a Red Wave.
