15 highlights out of 8 years (some of which are debateable as "highlights"), nonetheless, sad.

A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.

Here, as elsewhere, people are outraged at what feels like a rigged game -- an economy that won't respond, a democracy that won't listen, and a financial sector that holds all the cards. - Robert Reich

I missed the one of him on the big boat with a flight suit on just after accomplishing his mission? Hmm

I'm sorry that there is so little to celebrate. George Bush was one of the most underwhelming (read, embarrassing) public figures in recent memory. There are many third-world leaders who far outshone him during his occupancy. I do not wish him ill, but don't mind if we don't think about him much. The eight years he spent allowing his cronies to run roughshod over the nation (and the world) are a black mark in our history.

Every time I see this thread title, I laugh. Sorry, putting "George Bush" and "classy" in the same sentence is just hilarious.

This is as bad as calling Obama a statesman.
