Yawning helps lions synchronize their groups’ movements

Many have noticed the contagious nature of yawning, and it fact, my wife was once sent to the principals office for supposedly starting a yawning epidemic! Charges were dismissed.

I, and others. have noticed bilateral yawn induction from cats to humans and vice versa. Here is evidence of it's reality, but not yet a clear explanation of the mechanism involved.
Fang exposure may be important in convincing followers to go along to get along.

Perhaps we too are synchronizing our movement, or signaling some other social signal...like..."I'm sleepy, lets take a nap"

Yet we have lost(or misplaced) most of our inherited memories.
