Trump supporters believe a lot of things
yes ... Trump supporters willingly suspend their disbelief as an act of faith and fealty to the Savior of America.

Quote
That doesn't make them true
welllll ... they could become true.

Sen Wendy Rogers has called for a recall of Biden electors and for a new election ... one based on truth .... ( and one where Trump wins). Since AZ Senators have voted to conduct a fake audit and recount using a 3rd party, what is to prevent them from passing legislation which overturns the past election. Republicans control the AZ legislature and they have a willing governor.

Of course there is no redress in any court, but that did not stop MAGA rally goers to overrun the Capitol and stop proceedings. These folks are completely delusional. If you showed them evidence there was no fraud, they would respond by saying they saw boxes under the table .... meaning it was obvious fraud.

The point is not they have legal recourse but they have an army of delusional people willing to overthrow the government. Gen Milley was concerned to the point he considered scenarios to prevent an armed coup by Trump .... did I just type those words???? am I not in America???

Here's something interesting.

Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani could face criminal investigation in Arizona over their attempts to overturn election

https://news.yahoo.com/donald-trump-rudy-giuliani-could-131459980.html

We'll see what happens. I haven't heard a word about Trump's investigations here in Georgia for a couple of months. The last news was two grand juries were seated and it's been nothing but silence since. But that is normal until the grand juries finish their work and decide to indict or not.

It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

Odd you should say that. A friend recently messaged me on Facebook with a claim not unlike that one...

He said...
Quote
For example: in Fulton County GA, everyone was evacuated from the tabulation room because of a “water main break”. Which there is no record of happening or being repaired. However, a handful of counters stayed behind (6?) and pulled suitcases full of ballots out from under the tables, scanning the same batches of ballots repeatedly! No record of where those ballots came from! That was all on the surveillance cameras.

How can that be anything but intentional fraud?

To him this is a cold hard fact. It's all on camera. And he wants me to explain to him why the election hasn't been overturned...

I maintain that if there were such evidence then the courts would rightfully address the fraud. The courts have thrown out every claim and in multiple audits no fraud has been found. No suitcases of ballots scanned over and over on surveilance cameras.

It's a conspiracy...

Everyone is lying except Trump.

I haven't heard it anywhere else...I've heard a lot of other more sinister evaluations of his mental health and none are quite so benign.

The narcissistic disorder is the most common, with psychopathy/sociopathy running a close second...

But there is more to Donald Trump than just his mental illness...Asperger's syndrome to me implies a very high level of functionality, sometimes even genius.

Like who?

I've seen a lot of f*cked up sh*t going on and never hear any of it attributed to Asperger's Syndrome. It's not even a real thing medically...more a catch phrase for high functioning autistics.

Asperger syndrome, or Asperger’s, is a previously used diagnosis on the autism spectrum. In 2013, it became part of one umbrella diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders 5 (DSM-5).

Typical to strong verbal language skills and intellectual ability distinguish Asperger syndrome from other types of autism.

It's a bit like owning a particular make and model car that you happen to really like, and then you start noticing them around town.
You have a dark blue 70 Chevelle and suddenly you're noticing dark blue 70 Chevelles.
You haven't seen any bad s*** attributed to Aspies, but I have...what can I say.

I own "one of those Chevelles" ever since being diagnosed at age 46. Hmm

PS: Autism Speaks is...shall we say, a problematic organization, and that's not an opinion unique to me.

"It's April, So It's Time to Argue About Autism Speaks"

Quote
First you need to understand something very important:
Almost everything you have ever learned about autism has come from non-autistic people.
Autism Speaks was founded in 2005 by Bob Wright – a former NBC executive – and his wife Suzanne after their grandson was diagnosed with autism.
The Wrights’ daughter, Katie, firmly believes that her son’s autism resulted from vaccine damage– a myth that science had already discredited in 2005.

Autism Speaks spent a significant portion of its scientific spending on studies investigating a link between autism and vaccines –which they never found — and helped fuel the anti-vaxxer movement.

The problem with being autistic is that you are either considered too “high functioning” to be REALLY autistic and therefore your opinion doesn’t matter, or you are considered too “low functioning” to have an opinion.

I used to think I had numerous friends who "are on the spectrum", but I now believe they are just strange people who are more likely high functioning geeks. It concerns me a little bit that I don't think they are as strange as most folks do...
