I think by now “vaccine” is mostly a rallying cry. If they started referring to it as “the Ivermectin vaccine” I think use of it would stop!

Or call it "The Trump Vaccine". That would cause some tiny little heads to explode.

"Get the Trump Vaccine, so you'all will be around to vote for Trump in 2024! Own the libs!"

Staten Island protesters foreshadow...e mandates, warning of possible violence

Staten Island is the Red enclave in NYC, and many cops, firefighters, and other municipal workers live there.
It would be easy to quarantine them by cutting off the Ferry service grin

Quote
Hundreds of Staten Island residents holding anti-vaccine signs and waving American flags gathered on Sunday across the street from where New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) was scheduled to speak at a campaign event for local Democrats. The crowd was angry about New York City’s vaccine mandate for municipal workers, which takes full effect on Monday.

But one attendee had another worry — that the city, like the state of California, will force children to get the coronavirus vaccine. So he offered an unnerving warning.

“If they’re going to push this on the kids … I can guarantee you one thing: Town halls and schools will be f---ing burned to the ground,” the man said in a video posted by freelance journalist Oliya Scootercaster.

The crowd clapped, cheered, banged on drums and raised their American flags.

I love Copland!

Not exactly hillbilly elegy, that seem to be loosing its authenticity.

Staten Island really IS Copland.
Garrison, NJ is a fictional town, and I think they could have just filmed the movie IN Staten Island and no one would have objected.
It's just like Simi Valley out here in Southern California or Cabin John and Wheaton in Maryland.
Every part of the country has an isolated berg of some kind where you find all the cop families, the cop bars and cop owned side businesses.

In Minneapolis Minnesota:

St. Paul
Blaine
Brooklyn Park
Lakeville

The difference is, in Minneapolis one finds cop owned business scattered all throughout.

I can snooze through “America,” “My Country ‘tis” and all those like them - but if you want to waken whatever little national pride I ever owned, play me some “Appalachian Spring.”

Oh, wait, let me make sure I have a hanky…ok. Drop the needle.

I can’t believe I got that wrong! Actually, I’m not all that fond of “Appalachian spring. “I really meant to say “Fanfare for the Common Man.”

What a ditz.
