That’s nice, Ken, peaceful, but sad. Thanks for posting it.

And I must admit that I really like “Crimson and Clover,” bu mostly because it reminds me of a time when my sisters were still living at home and I was a little kid (more or less.)

That might be a problem when critiquing music because it is likely possible to always offend another one’s “sensibilities.” There’s another word I hate. Sensibilities.

Wouldn’t it be non-sensibilities? At least from the opposing side? At least for me

Sorry, Ken I was referring to the Hawaiian song. But I love Dave Grisman’s bluegrass as well - I just missed that one the first time round.

Melanie, okay, you can use the Dead. BUT — you have to give Dylan credit for “Masterpiece.”

Attempted humor:

Q: Why would it be ill-advised for an alcoholic older roofing crew to be reinfected with the chickenpox virus?

A: Because then it would be likely that they could suffer from both the shakes and the shingles at the same time.

Lo siento……..

I believe that’s “Yo siento mucho.

Nailed it!

OK then, so here’s another one that I like. I suppose I should post something from a newer music group but hey, that’s what us older people do….we reminisce. From the San Francisco Bay area, I think it was Oakland around 1973, this is from the group called Cold Blood. They had a lead singer gal who is all of 4’10’ but man she could belt it out.

And I think from time to time they still get together in some smaller night clubs in the area. And Lydia Pence is still rocking it:
