Good point.

He was in a groove, and I was expecting to see him fly!

It amused or at least shocked Ranters in the wayback machine, blast from the past, but the tune was not preserved, but the data suggests this was the tune!

In a little over two minutes, The Trashmen changed the face of rock and roll forever.

ok try and get this song out of your head for the next three days.

Was John Denver one of history’s greatest philosophers?

I had an aunt who went to school with him and went out for a few dates with him.

I lost all respect for him when I read his autobiography. I figured if a man’s ego would allow him to show what a flaming arsehole, the stuff he didn’t reveal was probably even worse.

No time for him whatsoever.

I knew nothing about John Denver’s private life prior to your comments about his autobiography but I did go on Amazon and read some of the reviews. Who knew? Certainly not me.

But I did know what caused him to crash his plane. He was flying whilst possessing twice the legal limit of Sunshine on his Shoulders.

Dammit all to Hell, anyway! Is it okay if I separate his assholiness from the songs?

You need to go to your room now Loggy and repent for your sins. Bread and water is all you get for dinner tonight. And unsalted bread at that.
