This morning I listened to part of the Biden speech. It seemed a bit long. It was clever in that he never spoke the Trump name and seemed to be ripping Trump a new one anyway.

My problem with Biden is that he just keeps on promising this and that but nothing seems to be getting done. Recently, for instance, he promised millions of tests, in about a month. King County, in Washington state just bought 400,000 quick tests and will start distributing them next week! What the hell? How is that possible when the president can't get them yet.

Biden just keeps on making promises. By the time they become reality voters are not going to be so much as happy as saying stuff like; "Its about time!" I voted for Biden and would probably do it again. That being said I REALLY wish that he would actually just do something! We have been hearing, for over a year now, about all the wonderful things they are going to do. Actually all these ongoing promises have simple taken the place of even mentioning what the Biden administration has done!

The simple fact is that they have actually done quite a bit. The economy isn't all that bad, there are lots of jobs, pay us up, etc. But, still, its really time for the Dems to step up and perform. I think they are now putting everything on their investigation into 1/6. I suspect that's gonna be a 40,000 page disaster instead of something easily said, backed by fact, that will be in their best interest. I say that because they just don't understand that they should speak with the same voice and actually do something before they promise it for a year.

Just a simple thought from a simple mind.

for what its worth I was dead wrong about that speech. After seeing some reviews I listened to the whole thing. Perhaps he has finally come to the point where he understands that the Republicans are not the same as they were and will not give an inch. Its strange, it took Obama about this much time to reach the same conclusion. One would have thought that Biden would have understood that one.

Of course, after this one he gave another where he started promising tests. I really wish he would stop with the promises based on the future. By the time it happens nobody really cares and the response is, usually, "about time".
