Each time a certification is read out loud by the tellers, the vice president must call for objections. There is a process. My point is this may not be an academic exercise in Constitutional law or the rules of the House and Senate. This may become an exercise in real life and politics. I don't know what Republicans will do. I think they have become unpredictable because of the cult of personality revolving around Mr Trump. You can see what is happening to Gov Kemp, and he is simply following the law.
